The second Avatar movie is filled with impressive computer-generated imagery that continues the groundbreaking CGI work from the first movie in 2009.

Pandora which is the planet that’s inhabited by the Na’vi has some breath-taking scenery such as the Hallelujah mountains. These mountains have beautiful flourishing forests on top of them and they float high up in the air above Pandora. They remind me of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon which were one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. It seems like the Hallelujah mountains could have been inspired by the Tianzi mountains in China.

Who needs sci-fi?

For someone who isn’t that bothered by science fiction movies I found this movie very interesting because of its amazing nature and scenery. It’s a pleasure to watch even though fiction isn’t my type of movie.

Avatar – The Way of Water

Avatar 2 is a science fiction film that takes place several years after the first Avatar film and follows the charatacters of Jake Sully and Neyteri as they explore new regions of Pandora and encounter new threats.  The story also introduces new characters and expands upon the horizon of the Avatar universe.

The film is very long but worth it I would say because the scenarios and special effects are amazing especially in 3D. I would say AVATAR exceeded my expectations even though the  scenery stayes basic there are some sensational moments during the film.

Great views!

The film is very ambitious and you can see that they used the newest technology. The exploration of Pandora put me in an interest to see unusual places while stayin seated.

To conclude: I think the film was very good but a bit long for me personally though the scenerys are unforgettable.

Editor’s note

These reviews were written by two brothers, aged 15 and 13. They both attend a francophone lycée on the continent and are fluent in three languages: French, Italian and English. Their contributions have been posted as delivered, complete with original spelling.
