From Saturday 22 July – Sunday 3 September, Wildwood will be treating visitors to a jam-packed six weeks of Summer fun. Come along with your family and make memories to last a lifetime, with everything from interactive crafts and keeper Q&As about iconic species to a nature trail for the kids and the chance to watch our predatory birds take flight. There will even be natural heritage sessions, finding out how our ancestors coexisted with nature and learning some of the skills that were essential for their survival.
Children and big kids will also be able to get up-close with Wildwood’s furry and feathered residents. Our arctic foxes Albert and Flo can’t wait to see everyone in their brand new home – the UK’s first arctic fox walkthrough enclosure. Whilst you’re there, make sure to enjoy a pizza from our new pizza kiosk.
Long-time favourites, Fluff and Scruff – the park’s rescued brown bears – will be ready to welcome visitors, fresh from celebrating their 25th birthdays. There’ll be a chance to watch them feed as well as seeing them amble about their 1.5 acre woodland home from the exhilarating heights of the bear bridge.
After coming nose-to-nose with the British wildlife we once shared our countryside with, let the kids run free in our adventure play park, complete with zip wires, climbing walls, and a thrilling drop slide, all whilst enjoying some tasty treats from our Woodland Café’s refreshed summer menu.
For those looking for an unforgettable child-free night, Wildwood is also offering summer evening sessions surrounded by British wildlife in Kent’s best alfresco dining spot. Wild evenings out have taken on a whole new and exclusive meaning!
